DELIVERY

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery costs are set at checkout, based on the delivery address and items purchased.

Mainland UK - Maximum of £4.99 WE OFFER FREE DELIVERY ON ORDERS OVER £75.

Delivery is made by Courier and must be signed for - if you won't be in to receive the delivery, you can specify a safe place or neighbour where your parcel can be left at checkout, however when doing so the customer assumes responsibility for the subsequent security of the parcel. If your parcel cannot be delivered within 2 attempts, redelivery charges may apply. Smaller parcels may be delivered using Royal Mail.

Most orders placed before 3pm will leave us the next working day, however please allow 3-5 days for dispatch and delivery. In the unlikely event your order could be delayed any longer than this for any reason, we will contact you by e-mail or phone.

How quickly will my order be delivered?

Once an order has been placed and payment completed, most orders are dispatched within 3 working days via either by a tracked Courier Service or (for some smaller or lower value items) Royal Mail. Most of our orders actually leave us within 24 hours of being received by us - at Tales Equine we pride ourselves on our fast delivery of Internet orders, because we know that this is what customers usually want more than anything!

How will I know where my Order has got to?

A Confirmation E-Mail, together with any relevant courier tracking details, will be sent to your specified E-Mail address upon dispatch.  If there are any problems with being able to dispatch your order quickly we will let you know as quickly as possible by 'phone or by E-Mail.

Will my Order need to be signed for?

All orders will require a signature on delivery – it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that somebody is able to sign for the delivery within the expected timeframe at the delivery address specified.  If the customer has provided Special Instructions for the parcel to be left in a safe place if out, this is at the customers own risk.

What if there are Problems with Delivery?

Whilst Tales Equine will make every effort to liaise with customers and with couriers in order to resolve any delivery difficulties, in the event of a parcel being returned due to non-delivery, additional delivery costs may be charged in order to complete any subsequent redelivery.
